I really want to go see Letters to Juliet. It looks like a really cute and fun movie. Thinking about taking a long lunch one of the days this week and checking it out. Anyone seen it and have anything to say about it?
Also, I am having a bit of a nail situation lately and wondering who can help me out. I want to be all put together, and girly, and enjoy all the hot new colors out their for spring/summer...but my nails will just not stop chipping. It is not like I am buying dollar store nail polish either, it is O.P.I. Any thoughts lovlies?
Hope you are all having a great week!
xoxo

I saw Letters to Juliet this past weekend with a friend and we both really liked it. It was cute. I would recommend you go see it.
ReplyDeleteNo reviews but Amanda Seyfreid is hot... that is all.
ReplyDeleteI saw it this weekend.... it's really cute!
ReplyDeleteI want to see this movie also, I'm hoping to go with a friend one evening this week.
ReplyDeleteAs far as polish, I had the same issue a couple months ago and someone told me to make sure I was using a good base coat so I purchased the OPI base coat and the chipping as gone down dramatically! Good luck!
It looks sweet and the guy is hot!

I have not seen it but I so want to! It looks really cute!
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait to see that movie. It is next on my list! As far as nail polish, I only use OPI also. Use the OPI base coat and then I also use a nail strengthener, too. I usually put that on and then a base coat. My nails tend to chip and strip off without it.
ReplyDeleteI want to see this movie too, it looks so sweet! :) xx
ReplyDeletePrenatal vitamins for the nails!!
ReplyDeleteDid my last comment post? I am not sure... errr.. umm well I'm not sure it did.. so i'll just repeat myself.
ReplyDeleteA. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! for being my 100th follower!!!!
B. I just bought a beautiful orange color called tequila sunrise. Its perfect for summer.. but my nails chip as well! I am always repainting them! Prenatal vitamins was smart! Thanks shelley!
C. So excited to get to know you more through your blog!
D. I really want to see that movie! Let me know if its any good!
I've heard it's really cute but kind of predictable. I'm gonna wait for dvd. Let me know if you see it and think it's theater going worthy.
ReplyDeleteSaw it last weekend. It was good, but mostly I was caught up in the fantastically beautiful skin, teeth, hair, eyes of Amanda. Ended up feeling really, really 41 years old. Vanessa was spot on.
ReplyDeleteMy nails suck...actually, so do my hands. Well, wait. I take that back. My hands are freakin' awesome, but hideous, wrinkled and dry. And I keep buying beautiful colors of polish, thinking I won't be embarrassed that attention is drawn to them. I'm in denial.
By the way, thank you for following~how did you find me? I'm returning the stalk. Don't call the cops.
Thanks for stopping by my blog! Your comments were sweet.
ReplyDeleteSo I went to Letters to Juliet yesterday while hubby was out of town. Went to the matinee. Totally loved it.
As for nails....I bought some awesome stuff today at Sallys. It's called Instant Artificials from Salon Sciences. I have natural nails and so far I love it. I put two coats on then I did a French Manicure.
Like to hear good things - I don't think I can convince hubby to see it though... :(
ReplyDeleteAs far as nails go - I am NOT the one to go to. My nails are always in horrible shape! But I hope you find something that works and looks fabulous!
Thanks for stopping by my blog!
When my nails are going through their breaking stage, I buy a cute color of press on nails from Walgreens and glue them on for a week and they look great and my nails can grow a little while they are on!
ReplyDeleteHello pretty ladies! Thanks for visiting my blog! I'm a Kappa Delta so im sending some greek love your way too <333 I want to see this movie sooo bad! Let's go see it together okay? :P <333
ReplyDeleteI want to see it! BUT, I haven't heard good things about it. :(
ReplyDeleteI want to see that movie! I heard on the radio that it was really cute.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen the movie yet, but I want to. I'm a sucker for a good chick flick... especially one that makes me cry. And with this one, even the trailer makes me tear up!! :)
ReplyDeleteI love cheesy chick flicks so I am definitely planning on spending 10 dollars to see this. I really like the actress in it too.
ReplyDeleteAs for nail polish, I can't really help you there. I ALWAYS wear the same color (OPI - Samoan Sand) because I am boring and don't like color on my hands. But I think it looks natural, clean and sleek.
P.S. Thanks for being #98!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I want to see this movie too!!! It looks so cute :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen it yet but I CAN'T wait :) and I am so glad I stumbled across your sweet blog!
ReplyDeleteMy Mom's nail gal told her that some nails have a chemical makeup that make them more susceptible to chips. Not sure if this is true or not...For me...lighter and more sheer colors chip less.
ReplyDeleteMy nails chip a lot too, but I think that's because I use them like all-purpose tools!
ReplyDeleteKeeping them shorter seems to help :-)
I saw it the other day, it was great!!! one of those movies you could watch over and over and not get sick of. Kinda sappy and a little slow in parts but good. I recommend it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting on my blog.

Thanks! :)
I really want to see this movie too!
Saw it in an "advanced screening" (you will find I am bery important like that) and blogged about it a couple of weeks ago! Loved it!! I bite my nails to prevent chipping...:) Thanks for finding my blog!
ReplyDeleteOoh, I've been wanting to see this movie! I have a hard time with my nails chipping too even though I use OPI and Essie. I recently bought Essie "Good to go" top coat and that's helped a lot! You should check it out. I also have heard that wiping your nails with nail polish remover to remove the oils before applying the base coat helps the polish last longer. I'm a new follower. :)

Another blogger posted about seeing this movie, and she said it was really good! Let us know if you see it:)
ReplyDeleteI've got no advice on the nail polish situation, I'm not a nail polisher!
I so want to see this!!! Thanks for stopping by my blog! I am now y'alls newest follower!
ReplyDeleteI want to see this movie so badly!!I love Amanda Seyfried!
ReplyDeleteAs for the nail issue, have you tried OPI Chip Skip? You put it on before you put on your basecoat, it's AH-MAZING!! I use it on my fingers and toes! It's a little pricey, but so worth it, I promise :)
My teenage daughters saw it and loved it.
ReplyDeleteAbout the nails - take prenatal vitamins. It'll make a world of difference!

ReplyDeleteI'm your 100th follower!!! Whoop whoop!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see this movie. I have heard good things :)
I saw this movie this past weekend and loved it!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen this movie but I would love to. It's looks super cute! Thanks for stopping by my blog! Is it your nails that are chipping? Or the nail polish? I would suggest buying a nail strengthener and putting it on everyday for a week before trying polish again. And even use it under polish. I hate chipping nails.
ReplyDeleteI really haven't heard anything about it but I do want to see!! let us know if you do!
