I am going to China!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will be headed to Beijing and Xi'an at the end of July. We haven't exactly decided what were doing each day but we have a general idea and will be booking that stuff hopefully this week! The tickets cost my left leg but I know it will be worth it. My aunt and uncle were located there for 3 years due to her job. They have been there almost 1 1/2 years and they know their way around and a lot of the language. I am meeting my aunt and cousin (live in Denver) in Beijing and then my uncle and cousin (living in China) in Xi'an. Should be a great time and I can't wait!!!
Have you been to China? Any tips/must see places?!
Sorry we have been slacking lately. We have just both been swamped but don't fret... were back!!

ReplyDeleteDid you know if you push the pedal on the piano and play only black keys, it sounds oriental? Anything you put together will sound oriental. My daughter just taught me that. Just a little trivia for your trip prep. :)

ReplyDeleteI haven't been there so I have no advice to give. All I know is that the two DJ's that I used to listen to, did a trip there with some listeners and they had NOTHING nice to say about it.

And when you come to Beijing, if you need a host at any time let me know, I am seriously willing to meet and help out - at the end of July I shouldn't be traveling - we are going to Mongolia in the beginning of July but other than that, I am free... that may be weird, but I'm another American girl so not too weird right?! Anyway let me know what other questions you have or if you need anything!
