Proud to be an American

Wake Up America!!! While you may not believe in the war, believe in those who are sacrificing themselves for your freedom! Support our Troops and honor them whenever you can. We would like to thank our Active Military, Veterans, our Fallen Soldiers and their families for their dedication, courage and sacrifice. Thank You. We remember now, and we will never forget.

Sara and I love America, and celebrating everything that is great about America. And even in these sometimes troubling times, we still need to remember there are a LOT of great things about getting to live in this country. We are so lucky.

So especially today, but every day we are SO grateful for everyone both active military and our veterans as well as their loved ones who have sacrificed so much for our freedom. So thank you! Show our military there are still plenty of people who appreciate their service and sacrifice.

Hope you all have a wonderful Memorial Day!
xoxo

  1. IT'S TRADITION FOR THE U.S. PRESIDENT TO LAY A WREATH IN ARLINGTON NATIONAL CEMETERY AT THE TOMB OF THE UNKNOWN SOLDIER ON MEMORIAL DAY. BUT IT WON'T HAPPEN THIS YEAR. THE PRESIDENT IS TAKING A VACATION TO CHICAGO! WAY TO SHOW RESPECT TO THOSE WHO HAVE GIVEN THEIR LIFE TO PROTECT THIS NATION!

One quote that I so believe in.

  6. Yes! Great reminder. That picture of the man in the wheelchair standing always makes me cry a little. Every year I attend this concert in the park and the Navy band plays all the different branch anthems and each member of that service stands for the anthem. I'm a big ball of tears seeing the older men with the younger men and women. USA!

  8. And, as someone who has lost a brother-in-law in Iraq, it offends me deeply that the president couldn't take time to visit Arlington Cemetary, but instead chose to go on vacation back home because "they hadn't been there since February." Guess what Mr. President? Those soldiers aren't going home. Rant over.
