“We made a deal ages ago. Men, babies, it doesn't matter. We're soulmates.” - Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), Sex and the City 2

LOVE this quote by Samantha from the new Sex and the City! Isn't this the kind of friendship that we would all love to have and keep for our whole lives?! As you can probably tell, I have a huge focus on my husband and family, but I also try really hard to keep my girlfriends a major priority because they are such an important relationship and support system to maintain.

Going to see this movie this weekend with one of my bridesmaids who is coming in to town and staying with us for the weekend, and we are pumped!

Hope all of you lovelies are having a great week!
xoxo

  1. Love the quote, love the picture! I'm seeing SATC2 on Memorial Day at a local theater that has a full service bar & kitchen... so I'll be sipping cosmos right along with Carrie & Co!

  4. I'm sad I don't have girlfriends like this anymore. All of us went our different ways mostly. And the ones who I am close with either don't live around here or don't watch the show! Sad!! Who am I going to watch the movie with?!

  5. I feel the same way about keeping girlfriends close. :) In spite of marriage or work or distance, it's always worth it.

  10. Thanks so much for visiting my blog and following! I'm excited to catch up on yours!

I never got into SATC, and then when it got big, I didn't want to start watching in the middle. So sadly, I'm missing out on the fun. But I agree. I'd love those kinds of friendships and while I have a good amount of close friends, the bond of those four is something to covet (though I realize it's fictional). :)
