So were a little behind but whatev...
My first week at work someone attempted to say my last name but instead of saying it correctly they said pudding. So now at work everyone calls me pudding.
Not a super great story... whats your nickname?

Day 19:Something I Miss
(In honor of Halloween, argh!)
I miss not being an adult! Who grows up anyway?! I am only being half serious, but really. Being an adult is really kicking me in the arse lately. There are a million things that I am really grateful for in my life. But how great was it back in college? Amazing! 16 hours of class a week, all of your friends still 5 minutes away, Andrew and I still together but with none of the major bills...paradise! Sara was literally 10 feet away, not 400 miles! This was one rough week, so I am so glad that it is Friday tomorrow.
Hope you all have a great weekend! What do you miss?
xoxo,
Kelly
Randomness
First off lets get this straight, I hate Oprah but LOVE The Sound of Music. So I had to watch Oprah today to see how everyone looked. I wish the original cast would have sang but it was still awesome.

Day 17 - Something you're looking forward to

LOVE THIS
Jack wakes up with a huge hangover after attending his company's party. He is not normally a drinker, but the drinks didn't taste like alcohol at all. He didn't even remember how he got home from the party. As bad as he was feeling, he wondered if he did something wrong.
He forced himself to open his eyes, and the first thing he sees is a couple of aspirins next to a glass of water on the side table. And, next to them, a single red rose!!
He sits up and sees his clothing in front of him, all cleaned and pressed! He looks around the room and sees that it is in perfect order, spotlessly clean. So is the rest of the house.
He takes the aspirins, cringes when he sees a huge black eye staring back at him in the bathroom mirror. Then he notices a note hanging on the corner of the mirror written in red with little hearts on it and a kiss mark from his wife in lipstick: 'Honey, breakfast is on the stove, I left early to get groceries to make you your favorite dinner tonight. I love you, darling! Love, Jillian'
He stumbles to the kitchen and sure enough, there is hot breakfast, steaming hot coffee and the morning newspaper.
His 16 year old son is also at the table, eating. Jack asks, 'Son.what happened last night?'
'Well, you came home after 3 A.M., drunk and out of your mind you fell over the coffee table and broke it, and then you puked in the hallway, and got that black eye when you ran into the door.'
Confused, he asked his son, 'So, why is everything in such perfect order and so clean? I have a rose, and breakfast is on the table waiting for me??'
His son replies, 'Oh THAT... Mom dragged you to the bedroom, and when she tried to take your pants off, you screamed, 'Leave me alone bitch, I'm married!!'

Day 13 - Goals
I want to visit Germany
Get on the Price is Right - My grandpa and grandma used to watch this show all the time with me while they were babysitting me.
I want to marry a couple - not be a priest/paster but actually complete a ceremony and marry 2 people.
Save all the animals in the world. Stop backyard breeders and puppy mills/have everyone adopt an animal from a shelter instead of a breeder.
Find a job that I love!
Have kids?! Yikes haha maybe I'll stick to all my cats, meow.
What are your goals?

Day 11: Favorite TV Shows
Hello Loves! Homecoming is this weekend and we are really excited :) Yay Kappas!
I wrote a post a couple months ago and all of those shows are still ones I love Chuck, NCIS, Teen Mom and Pretty Little Liars (can't wait until that is on again). Lately my newest show that I am watching is Sister Wives which just had its finale this week. Did any of you watch this?
I am interested to see what happens next season... the new four wives house, how many of them are pregnant, etc. These women kill me...one second they are thrilled about something, and the next minute they are outraged and heartbroken about that same exact thing that they asked for. I can't imagine being in their situation!
What other shows do you love to watch?

Kelly

I love love love to travel
As you can see from Kel's post that we traveled to Sicily and had a blast!
I was also able to travel to Australia and live there for 6 months. It was amazing. I went to New Zealand for 2 weeks and had a blast. I was able to do everything I have ever imagined. I lived with 2 Aussies and then 1 girl from England and they were the best roommates. They had been there for 6 months by the time I had moved in and knew all the ins and outs of Aussie. I went sky diving, bungi jumping, black water rafting, saw all the sites, ect.

Day 8: Whateva Whateva-We do What We Want ! haha
So Sara and I are trouble sometimes...I am sure you have figured that out. It happens to the best of us :) Italy was one of my all time favorite memories. We had an amazing time. It was in January, right before our last semester of college, and we lived it up!
Our teacher HATED us! He just wanted us to be so serious and stay in and study all night and we just mostly wanted to see the sights...and the bars. We all have our priorities right?! Plus, we had the whole school thing on lock by then! So what if we brought giant wine juice boxes on our fieldtrips and started a whole bus sing along to "Lets Get F*cked Up"?!?... It was all in good fun... When you drive for hours to look at a bunch of rocks that used to be a temple a bajillion years ago who wouldn't want a coctail!
He thought we were going to fail miserably. We got the best grades in the class! And, we only studied the night before the final before we went out. We got the lecture on our lost potential, and we told him how we were the only ones who didn't waste a perfectly great trip to Italy sitting in our rooms reading. Whatever crabby...
An A is an A, and in this case A stood for AMAZING time in Sicily!
Any of you lovelies been there? Try the wine juice boxes! They are better than any wine here and less than a dollar! Not advised for long bumpy 6 am bus rides when you've been out till 4 though! haha

Kelly

Day Six: Pic of Something that Makes Me Happy
I love lazy Saturdays. For the last couple years Andrew had jobs where he has worked nights, weekends and holidays. I love now that we can have lots more time together. The house is more put together, we get to eat meals together, and there is a lot more time to just relax and enjoy!
Love weekend afternoon naps!
Just saw the calendar I created for my neighbor for Hippotherapy (special needs children and veterans riding horses as therapy) and they love it. I am so happy! Tonight is their big benefit dinner and Andrew and I are going, so that should be fun. I do miss my friends and wish I could be there too, but I hope they are having a great time celebrate our amazing friend Carly :)!
What are you all doing this weekend?

Furry Fridays
Dogs in Missouri need your help. Why should you care about dogs in Missouri? Because in your city there is a pretty good chance you have a local pet store selling puppies from a Missouri puppy mill. In fact, Missouri exports up to a million puppies a year all across the U.S. (30% of U.S. puppy mills are in Missouri), and this November, Missouri voters will get to mandate common-sense humane standards for puppy mills at the ballot box. (Learn more about Prop B.)
But the folks who profit by cutting corners on humane care are pulling out all stops to try to quash this important legislation. I applaud the Humane Society of the United States and our Missouri colleagues' efforts to bring about change for over 200,000 breeding dogs. Join us to get the word out to all Missourians to vote YES! on PROP B. Post it on Facebook; e-mail your friends. Help the dogs!
*The purpose of this Act is to prohibit the cruel and inhumane treatment of dogs in puppy mills by requiring large-scale dog breeding operations to provide each dog under their care with basic food and water, adequate shelter from the elements, necessary veterinary care, adequate space to turn around and stretch his or her limbs, and regular exercise.
I think it is disgusting that they even need a law on this... "adequate space to turn around and stretch his or her limbs" ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!!?!?!
Read the act at :

Meet Selma:
Name: Selma (Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu)
Age: Approximately 2 years old
Weight: 9 lbs
Favorite Things: Being on your lap, following you around
Waiting for a home since: September, 2010
About Selma: Selma was rescued from a puppy mill. She is a very gentle soul. She is a little shy around new people but warms up quickly after a few minutes and then she is your new best friend.

Day Five: Siblings
My "little brother", (haha not so little anymore, he is 21 and 6'5") is great. As brothers and sisters go we got along really well throughout the years. Everyone has their sibling rivalries, but we had a lot of fun. My brother is in business/finance school at DePaul now graduating this Spring and getting straight A's. I am so proud of him and excited to see what he does next!
I didn't feel like being really serious today so I thought I'd post some older pics. You all saw him yesterday when Sara was trying to molest(jk) him anyway.
Hope all your Fridays go really quickly and that you have great weekends!

Kelly

Bachelorette Party!
Now these are all things I think of when I hear bachelorette party. Lots of girls, drinking, possibly strippers, pink, ect. Well my friend doesn't want all the toys, penis stuff, ect. Were from all over the midwest so we are having the bridal party with family and friends. After the bridal shower, we'll go back to our hotel, eat dinner at the Houlihan's (anyone been to one before?) & start Carly's big night out. We'll be playing some games & then we'll take a little tour of LG's finest drinking establishments.
Looking forward to seeing all my friends from college, really miss seeing them. Also very sad kel wont be making the trip. I miss her!!!

Day 4
My mom and I:
My mom is the best mom in the world!
When she was in her last year of college her parents died tragically. She quit college to return home to raise her siblings. It was then when she inherited the bar/restaurant and bought out her siblings. She had to grow up a lot but proved how strong she is.
She got married to my dad and then divorced when I was in 4th grade. It was a really hard time for us. My dad had left, she had 3 kids to take care of and a business. She raised us 3 kids all on her own while owning her own bar/restaurant. Now all 3 of her children are in college (in my case I have graduated!) My mom sold the bar (I was so sad) and "retired." She is very involved in politics which she loves and is very busy golfing and doing her radio show. I see my mom about once a week and I still call her when I am sick haha. She is amazing!

Day Four: Parents :)
My fam and I the day of the wedding. Sara trying to get my bro to love her so we can be sisters! Can you tell he looks excited?! My Mom loves it though :)
Sara and I doing shots with our parents the night of our graduation :) Mom was not loving the jagerbombs (not sure if I know how to spell that, just drink, haha)
I am very lucky to have the family that I have. When I was growing up they were very strict, I mean VERY. But I think that is good so I didn't turn out like one of those demon children I have been meeting lately that sparks my fear of having my own...
Now that we have grown up and they know that we are successful/productive adults we have a lot of fun together, going on vacations, out to bars, dinner, etc.
Don't know what else to say about it really except I love them so much and am so grateful to have them as my parents :)
Hope you all are having wonderful weeks! Almost there
xoxo,
Kelly
